WHY PLAY HE-MAN IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

As a Legendary Champion, He-Man is one of the most sought-after Champions in RAID: Shadow Legends. However, his ability to deal punishing damage to certain enemies and his resistance to specific debuffs is what makes him a truly formidable ally.

He-Man is an Attack-type Champion who is capable of enhancing himself with Increase Attack buffs before cleaving through his enemies with his fabulous secret powers. With his default skill, he’ll hit enemies from The Corrupted two times instead of one, his second skill lets him ignore Stone Skin buffs, and his passive skill makes him immune to Petrification debuffs. He-Man is an outstanding Champion for many areas of RAID: Shadow Legends, from the Arena to the Doom Tower and beyond.

HOW TO GET HE-MAN IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

He-Man is available for a limited time via the Elite Champion Pass, and is also summonable from Ancient and Sacred Shards on select days between November 2024 and January 2025. You must enter RAID: Shadow Legends by December 24th to have a chance to get He-Man.

He-Man will no longer be available to be summoned from Shards or earned via the Champion Pass after January 25th, 2025.

WHAT ARE HE-MAN’S SKILLS?

He-Man’s skills are centered around heavy damage, with all three of his active skills directly attacking enemies.

• Eternian Slash – Attacks 1 enemy. Places an extra hit on enemies from The Corrupted. Also fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 10%. Fills their Turn Meter by an additional 2% for each buff on this Champion.
• Luminous Cleave – Attacks 1 enemy. Before attacking, places a 50% Increase ATK buff on this Champion for 2 turns. Will ignore Stone Skin buffs. If this attack kills an enemy, fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 30%.
• I Have The Power! – Attacks all enemies. The damage inflicted by this skill increases by 10% for each buff placed on this Champion before this skill is used (stacks up to 500%). Resets after this skill is used.
• Master of the Universe [P] – Increases this Champion’s ATK and HP by 5% for each buff placed on this Champion (stacks up to 50%). Places a 25% Strengthen buff on this Champion for 2 turns at the start of each Round. Also places a 25% Strengthen buff on this Champion for 2 turns whenever an enemy’s HP drops below 50% after this Champion’s attack. This Champion is immune to Petrification debuffs.

He-Man also has an Aura that increases all allies’ Speed in Arena battles by 28%.

HE-MAN RECOMMENDATIONS

As an Attack-type Champion, He-Man’s primary role in any RAID: Shadow Legends team is dealing damage. Allies can help increase He-Man’s damage by up to 500% when using his I Have The Power! skill simply by placing buffs on him before he uses that skill. MASTERIES

As a Champion who is capable of already astronomical damage numbers, Masteries for He-Man should focus on increasing his Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage. The best place to do this is the Offense Mastery Tree, grabbing Masteries such as Deadly Precision at Tier 1, and Keen Strike and Shield Breaker at Tier 2. From there you can grab Single Out and Whirlwind of Death at Tier 3, before Bring It Down and Cycle of Violence at Tier 4. At Tier 5, Methodical can increase He-Man’s damage using his Eternian Slash skill, and Kill Streak can increase his damage further when killing enemies. Finally, grab the Tier 6 Mastery Helmsmasher for a 50% chance to ignore 25% of your target’s Defense.

For his remaining Masteries, we recommend working your way down the middle of the Defense Tree for extra survivability. He-Man already places a Strengthen buff on himself at the start of each round, but anything to boost his survivability will be helpful. We recommend starting with Defiant at Tier 1, before grabbing Improved Parry at Tier 2 and Bloodthirst at Tier 3 for some extra healing when killing an enemy. At Tier 4, Delay Death can be used to reduce the damage taken from a specific enemy, and Cycle of Revenge at Tier 5 will grant He-Man a 50% chance to increase his Turn Meter by 15% whenever an ally receives a critical hit.

GEAR

Selecting the right Gear for He-Man is all about focusing on two simple words: big damage. Whether you’re looking to nuke your enemies in the Arena, or rack up huge damage numbers on a Clan Boss, Artifacts and Accessories should be focused on enhancing He-Man’s Attack, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Speed.

In terms of specific Sets, there are a number to choose from that grant bonuses to those specific stats, or increase the wearer’s damage. The 4-piece Savage Set does just that, letting the wearer ignore 25% of their target’s Defense. In conjunction with the Helmsmasher Mastery, He-Man could potentially ignore 50% of his target’s Defenses. There’s also Sets such as Lethal, Merciless, and Cruel for additional bonuses to damage.

BLESSINGS

There are a few Blessings that are perfect for damage-dealers such as He-Man. First up, we’ve got Heavencast. This Epic Blessing from the Divinity of Light increases the damage inflicted by a Champion depending on how many buffs they have on them. This works perfectly in tandem with He-Man’s I Have The Power! skill, which increases his damage according to how many buffs he’s received since last using that skill. It’s a dream combination for buff-heavy teams.

Other Blessings that He-Man could use include Lightning Cage for protecting buffs and dealing bonus damage, Crushing Rend for ignoring even more of an enemy’s Defense, and Brimstone for putting out Smite debuffs and dealing heavy damage.

HE-MAN TACTICS

He-Man is an amazing Champion that will slot into any team for taking on a wide variety of content in RAID: Shadow Legends. Undoubtedly, his starring role is in the Arena, given his ability to ignore Stone Skin buffs and his immunity to Petrification debuffs. However, as long as he’s paired with Support-type Champions that can constantly place damage-enhancing buffs, he’s more than capable of taking on any of Teleria’s greatest challenges. DUNGEONS

When taking on the Dungeons of RAID: Shadow Legends, He-Man is a great choice for clearing through waves of enemies and dealing decent damage to the Bosses themselves. The I Have The Power! skill will be very helpful for clearing out Spiderlings in the Spider’s Den, and the Turn Meter manipulation on his Eternian Slash skill will generally be very helpful for ensuring your team can take plenty of turns before the Boss.

DOOM TOWER

The Doom Tower is home to many waves of enemies, and gives He-Man a chance to shine as a damage-dealer. Be sure to place those Increase Attack, Increase Critical Damage and Increase Critical Rate buffs on He-Man to ensure he hits hard, and then watch his crush evil wherever it rears its head!

FACTION WARS

Within the Sacred Order, He-Man has the potential to be one of the best damage dealers. There are plenty of Support Champions within the Sacred Order that can grant him the buffs he needs to reach terrifying levels of damage, and he can help them in return by boosting their Turn Meter with his first and second skills.

HE-MAN TEAM COMBINATIONS

Speaking of Faction Wars, a perfect team combination for He-Man would include Champions such as Lightsworn, who can place Increase Defense and Revive on Death buffs, as well as Deacon Armstrong and Cardiel who, between them, can place a wide variety of buffs and increase Turn Meter so He-Man is able to hit hard and often.

Outside of Faction Wars, He-Man will pair well with any Champions that can increase his attacking stats. Champions such as Arbiter and Mithrala Lifebane are especially useful, as the former can revive He-Man in case the worst happens, and the latter can also place plenty of buffs to increase He-Man’s damage.
